First published in 1959, The Horsetrader is the nation’s
oldest all-breed advertising publication designed to serve
as a marketplace for amateur and professional horsemen.
Originating in Ohio, the publication was purchased by Morris
Communications in 1999 and is distributed free through retail
outlets and at industry events.
In early 2001, Cowboy Publishing launched a second, “Southern”
edition of The Horsetrader.
