DALLMAN PROMOTED TO CEO OF NEW VISITOR PUBLICATIONS

AUGUSTA, Ga.—Raymond P. Dallman has been named to the new position of chief executive officer of Guest Informant™, a group of visitor publications recently acquired by Morris Communications. The announcement was made today by William S. Morris IV, president of the parent company, and is effective immediately.

In April 2000, Dallman was named general manager of Best Read Guides, a group of nine proprietary and 11 franchised visitor books distributed free to vacationers in key leisure markets of the United States. In addition, Dallman became general manager of the Hospitality Industry Association, acquired by Morris in May 2003. He will maintain those responsibilities in addition to his oversight of Guest Informant™ and will continue to report to Morris Vice President Carl N. Cannon.

Dallman joined Morris Communications in 1991 as director of sales and marketing for the company's largest newspaper, The Florida Times-Union. Earlier in his career, he was senior vice president of advertising and marketing for the former Houston Post and vice president of advertising for the Orlando (Fla.) Sentinel.

"Ray is extremely deserving of this promotion and the recognition it affords," said Morris. "He has exceptional management skills and has consistently produced outstanding results for our company."

Morris Communications is a privately held media company with diversified holdings that include newspaper and magazine publishing, outdoor advertising, radio broadcasting, book publishing and distribution, and online services. For more information, visit www.morris.com.
