PETER MOHS NAMED PUBLISHER
OF ECHO PUBLISHING
AUGUSTA, Ga. - Peter D. Mohs has been
named publisher of Echo Publishing, a Morris-owned Minnesota
company in Pequot Lakes. The announcement was made today by
William S. Morris IV, president and chief executive officer,
and is effective May 1. Mohs succeeds Louis S. Hoglund.
Echo Publishing includes the weekly
newspaper Lake Country Echo and the free community weekly
Echoland Shopper in Pequot Lakes, and the weekly newspaper
Pine River Journal and the free community weekly Piper Shopper
in Pine River.
For more than 20 years, Mohs has worked
for the Morris-owned Brainerd Daily Dispatch in Brainerd,
Minn. Mohs served as a news reporter, sports writer and assistant
sports editor before being named assistant advertising manager
in 1999.
"Pete's solid record of professional
experience has proven his talent, flexibility and dedication
to this company," Morris said. "We think he is an
excellent choice for Echo Publishing."
