KANSAS RADIO PURCHASE COMPLETED
AUGUSTA, Ga. - Morris Communications'
broadcast subsidiary, MCC Radio LLC, today completed the purchase
of six Kansas radio stations from EBC Inc., of Salina, Kan.
The transaction was first announced March 3, 2003.
"It
feels good to put the final stamp on the EBC purchase. These
broadcast properties have strong community ties and excellent
potential," said William S. Morris IV, president. "We're
delighted to welcome them into the Morris family of radio
stations."
The
six stations are KSAL-AM, KYEZ-FM and KZBZ-FM, Salina; KABI-AM
and KSAJ-FM, Abilene; and KBLS-FM, North Fort Riley. They
will be added to MCC Radio, which currently consists of 27
radio stations and two networks. Other Morris broadcast properties
in Kansas are WIBW-AM and WIBW-FM, the Kansas Agriculture
Network and the Kansas Information Network, all located in
Topeka.

D. Osterhout, MCC Radio vice president and chief operating
